Rostelecom's mobile equipment and services will be sold in Euroset stores across Russia after a deal between the two companies was reached.

Rostelecom subscribers and customers of its subsidiaries and SkyLink will be able to access a wide range of services and products in Euroset outlets across the country, under the terms of the new agreement.

As part of the deal, Euroset will act as a franchise outlet for Rostelecom products and services. Euroset will sign up new subscribers to Rostelecom's services, provide tariff plans, receive payments and sell Rostelecom products, including smartphones and broadband products.

Pavel Zaitsev, Rostelecom vice-president and director for commerce, said: "Under this agreement, Rostelecom and our subsidiaries were able to establish unified conditions for cooperation with Russia's largest mobile retailer.

"It is very important that our customers receive all the services they need, in locations convenient for them. We believe that the cooperation with Euroset will facilitate further growth of our subscriber base in all regions where we operate."
