COLT appoints new Head of Data Centre Services
Eugene Viskovic joins COLT from BT Switzerland and Austria
COLT, a leading European provider of business communications, has announced the appointment of Eugene Viskovic as Head of Data Centre Services (DCS). He will be responsible for shaping the future strategy of COLT's DCS operation and for product management and development, engineering and marketing. Viskovic will report to COLT's CTO, Dr Alireza Mahmoodshahi.
Viskovic brings extensive European sales and operations management experience to COLT. He joins from BT Switzerland and Austria, where he was managing director for three years. During this time, he successfully repositioned BT Switzerland in the market as a key supplier for multinational organisations and transformed it into a key contributor to BT Global Services in Europe.
Prior to this, Viskovic held the position of vice president for Equant's Integration Services (IS) line of business, responsible for delivering Equant's suite of Integration Services for mission-critical networks to more than 800 global companies in 191 countries. He has also held senior positions at Diagonal/Wincap Software and Centura Software, in the UK and France, and worked for Software AG and Wang Labs.
