COSMOTE Romania selects BSCS 8 from LHS to upgrade its billing system
LHS, the leading provider for telecommunications and billing software, has announced that mobile operator COSMOTE Romania, member of the COSMOTE Group, has selected LHS’ billing and customer care BSCS 8 system to replace its previous legacy system, on the basis of its proven marketing and pricing capabilities. The new billing system was installed to support COSMOTE Romania’s dynamic growth plans.
COSMOTE Romania, member of the COSMOTE Group, began commercial operations in December 2005 with the aim to make mobile telephony accessible to all. To this end, the company continuously expands its advanced products and services portfolio, introducing new voice, data and content value added services.
In order to provide its increasing customer base with a flexible and user-friendly billing system, competitive pricing structures and special promotional activities, COSMOTE Romania implemented the LHS BSCS 8 system as it allows the company to market the same services to both its prepaid and postpaid customers.
The BSCS 8 system implementation was completed by Atos Origin, one of LHS’ partners for system integration.
