LHS appoints Wolfgang Kroh as new CEO
Wolfgang Kroh takes over the role as Chief Executive Officer after only six successful months back in the company
LHS, a leading provider of telecommunications and billing software, has today announced the appointment of its new CEO, Wolfgang Kroh. Previous CEO, Hartmut Lademacher, is to resume his position as Chairman of the Board.
Kroh, whose LHS history with the company stems back to 1997, had been Senior Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA from 1997-2000. He rejoined the company as Chief Operating Officer six months ago, and brings with him a wealth of more than 25 years knowledge and experience in IT and telecommunications. Prior to his recent appointment, Kroh was Managing Director of the German subsidiary of EMC2, which he joined in 2001. Kroh was responsible for growing the company's profits during a time in which Germany faced an extremely unstable economy.
“I was very excited when I came back to work for LHS, because of the immediate acceptance of employees and customers, the affinity I held with the company, and because I knew that it has great potential in the market place,” said Wolfgang Kroh.
“The last six months have been extremely prosperous and now as CEO, I will build on that and continue to make this potential a reality.”
LHS will benefit greatly from Kroh's excellent track record and in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry. It is hoped that this significant appointment will further support the company's significant growth, helping it to outperform higher than the market and continue its success story.
“I have no doubt that Kroh will take the company forward, and I am pleased to handover the role,” said Hartmut Lademacher. “The telecoms industry faces a dynamic future and LHS is in the right place, at the right time, with the right management team to take full advantage.”
