Ryder wins contract from leading Irish telco
Ryder Systems, the European provider of bill management solutions for fixed and mobile operators, has been awarded a contract by Ireland's leading communications provider, eircom, to supply its Bill presentation and Analysis solution to their Small Business & Consumer customer base.
With over 1.2 million customers, eircom will use Ryder's solution to add increased value to its customers by delivering comprehensive billing information via an intuitive online portal, helping to build customer satisfaction and reduce billing queries.
Martin Gillick, Head of CRM Project Release Management in eircom retail, commented: "eircom required a scalable solution which could be rolled out to our Small Business and Consumer customer base. Ryder was able to provide us with a tool which is both functionally rich but also simple to use. The intuitive nature of the product enables us to roll the solution out with minimal need for intervention in customer familiarisation."
With the aim of increasing the adoption of online bill presentment, Ryder's online bill analysis tool will offer eircom's customers a greater understanding of their telephony usage. Through an easy to use web portal, users will be able to access a copy of the bill and view usage trends and summaries through charts, with additional functionality to create personalised reports to monitor usage patterns month on month, set specific watch points and drill down into the bill to extract specific information.
