Elsacom Italy selects BSG for clearing and settlement services
Agreement with Italian communications firm further extends BSG’s European customer base
BSG Clearing Solutions (BSG), a subsidiary of Billing Services Group, the telecom industry’s clearing and settlement provider, today announced an agreement with Elsacom Italy, an independent gateway operator of Globalstar and provider of fixed and mobile satellite services, to deliver GSM international roaming data and financial clearing services.
Under the agreement, BSG will exchange and clear all data and financial records that occur across Elsacom’s GSM network of 50 international roaming partners. Services include determining operators’ net cash positions and transacting foreign exchange of funds across various currencies, as well as providing business intelligence reporting and the latest in TAP conversions.
Atul Devani, CEO of BSG’s wireless services commented, “Elsacom can now enjoy our transparent processes and sophisticated services like TAP creation and rating. We continue to extend our footprint in this market and this contract is a measure of our ongoing success.”
