StarHub Singapore goes live with BSCS iX from LHS
LHS to support multi-media content services via fixed, mobile and Internet platforms
LHS has announced that StarHub, Singapore’s second largest info-communications company, has gone live with BSCS iX from LHS, a billing and customer care system to support StarHub’s range of information, communications and entertainment services. The system has been successfully implemented in collaboration with Accenture, one of LHS’ partners for system integration.
StarHub is the only operator in Singapore to deliver a complete range of communication and entertainment services over fixed, cable, mobile and Internet platforms. It is the exclusive provider of i-mode mobile Internet services in Singapore, which it provides over its 2.5G and 3G networks. The additional flexibility that BSCS iX provides will allow StarHub to constantly launch new world-class services with innovative and useful features.
Said James Woo, Head of Information Services, StarHub: “We chose BSCS iX because of its excellent support for full convergence and flexibility. With the implementation being successfully completed now, we are looking to launch more innovative service plans at competitive rates.”
Stefan Sieber, Division Officer Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, at LHS adds: “BSCS iX will enable StarHub to launch new services more quickly which will increase customer revenue and strengthen its position as a leading info-communications provider in the region.”
BSCS iX is LHS’ end-to-end real-time billing and customer care system. Its iX architecture enables real-time business operations for the entire rating and billing process, thus reaching a new level of customer-centricity, from the point of sale to providing real-time charging information right up to real-time billing. Its modular design allows operators to benefit from step-by-step migrations and reduced operational expenditure.
