cVidya announces compliance with the emergent new standard for Revenue Assurance published by TMF
cVidya Networks, a leader of Telecom Data Integrity and Revenue Assurance Systems, has announced that its MoneyMap line of products complies with the recently published TMF standard that maps Revenue Assurance into the framework for Next Generation Operations Software and Systems (NGOSS). The new published standard includes the definition of Revenue assurance processes, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Controls.
According to cVidya, inclusion in the NGOSS framework is particularly significant for the field of Revenue Assurance, for which standardization already plays an important role. Revenue Assurance is used as a vehicle to align between different terminologies and processes. As such, it must consist of clear and well defined processes with complete internal integrity, and the various standardization initiatives have been instrumental in achieving this.
Reflecting the importance of standardization in this field, Dr. Gadi Solotorevsky, leader of the TMF’s Revenue Assurance Modeling team remarked, “The standardization of Revenue Assurance may be one of the greatest achievements of the Revenue Assurance team.”
“The new standardization will be used by telecom operators to perform an educated choice between revenue assurance solutions. cVidya Networks, as an industry leader, makes sure that its products comply with the standard and offer the best solution to its customers,” says Alon Aginsky, cVidya’s president and CEO.
NGOSS is a framework to model the processes and information flow within the BSS and OSS domains of a telecom operator. Particularly, it specifies the eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map) and SID (Shared Information and Data), which model, respectively, the business processes and the essential data structures to be used for an efficient performance of a telecom organization.
