Tech Mahindra and SITRONICS TS Partner to Deliver Innovative IT Solutions for Next Generation Networks (NGN)

Tech Mahindra Limited (TechM), a global leader in providing end-to-end IT services and solutions to the telecommunications sector, and SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Czech Republic (formerly STROM telecom), a developer and producer of high-end communications equipment and BSS/OSS headquartered in the Czech Republic, are pleased to announce a partnership to jointly address fixed line, mobile operators and WiMAX players across Europe, Asia Pacific and MEA.

SITRONICS Telecom Solutions (SITRONICS TS) is an established vendor of communications equipment with multiple installations of its FORIS (BSS/OSS) solutions and the TENNET NGN products and solutions across Central & Eastern European & CIS markets. Tech Mahindra will harness SITRONICS TS’ strong position in the region to enter this market. SITRONICS TS, on the other hand, will leverage Tech Mahindra’s presence in Asia Pacific, India and MEA to bring its FORIS BSS/OSS solutions and cutting edge TENNET NGN products to communications service providers in this region.

This unique partnership will enable telecom service providers to migrate from legacy to NGN networks across IT stack & network elements, under one roof. TechM with its telecom domain knowledge and SITRONICS TS with its mature solution offerings for the BSS/OSS and Next generation networks will enable Telecom service providers to launch new revenue generating services using this cutting edge technology.

“The Telecom industry continues to transform. By keeping pace with the changing scenario, Tech Mahindra is proud to be in a position to offer complete end-to-end Telecom solutions to its customers.” said CP Gurnani, President International Operations. “We have discovered that partnering with SITRONICS TS will enable us to work with highly specialised product development teams and collaborate very closely. This will enable us to work towards more innovative ways of leveraging existing infrastructure, and also introduce new services.

"SITRONICS TS has the experience of delivering BSS and NGN solutions to some of the leading service providers in Europe. We are confident that forging the strong partnership with TechM will enable both companies to participate in the next wave of technology deployments on the European, Asia Pacific and MEA markets,” said Nihad Hurem, the CEO of SITRONICS TS. “Asia Pacific is the most rapidly growing market where customers are always looking for innovative implementations of technology; SITRONICS TS’ solutions can enable the region's operators to launch new revenue generating services on a flexible and scalable platform to meet the present and future demands of the market," Hurem added.
