Content security provider Conax celebrating 100% yearly growth in Latin America
Global provider of conditional access solutions for digital TV operators, Conax, is showcasing its Conax CAS7 successes in the Latin American market at ABTA, São Paulo, this week. After just five years in the Latin American market, Conax has captured key digital TV operators in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, and shown an impressive 100% growth each year.
In South America, Conax has 18 customers in 8 countries and has already sold over 1 million smartcards in 2008. Supported by its Latin America sales and engineering team in São Paulo, Brazil, Conax delivers conditional access solutions for customer platforms in the region including Cable, DTT, MMDS, DTO, and DTH.
At ABTA, Conax will present its Conax CAS7 security technology and complimentary Conax solutions for VOD, Push VOD, IPTV, Conax Chipset Pairing with watermarking technology, and key applications such as Conax Voucher for Pre-paid services and Conax Mobile Solution for Ordering events through Mobile TXT messages. With customers in 70 countries, Conax has proven solutions for content protection for broadcasting via cable, satellite, IP, terrestrial, and MMDS networks and supports emerging technologies such as mobile broadcasting.
