DIGITALK provides MSP for new Call by Call service of Millenicom in Germany
Millenicom has successfully completed interoperability tests with Deutsche Telekom for their new Call by Call service, operated on the DIGITALK Multiservice Platform.
Millenicom, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the European Telecommunication Holding (E.T.H. AG), has been aggressively offering alternative services for 10 years and this latest development is in line with the expansion plans of the Group.
Christoph Völker, Network Operations Director of Millenicom stated, "Successful interoperability with the German incumbent is a great leap forward for Millenicom as we are able to meet additional demands for making international calls with economic rates. The experience in Germany will be transferred to our operations in Turkey as this market continues to open up."
Mark Ashdown, Sales and Marketing Director of DIGITALK commented, "Because of the deregulation of the German telecommunications sector, the explosion in the market is a great opportunity to capitalize on the range of prepaid and postpaid services available by using the DIGITALK Multiservice Platform."
