First Data appoints Nimbus Systems
Stratus supports leading financial services transaction infrastructure company
First Data, the world’s leading transaction credit and loyalty card infrastructure company, has selected the Stratus billing solution from Nimbus Systems to support its Spanish operations.
The future-proof Stratus platform enables First Data Iberica to fully automate deals of any complexity, providing greatly improved customer service. First Data selected Stratus to meet all of its billing and settlement requirements, and full roll-out will be finalised by Summer 2005.
First Data is a leading driver in e-business, making commerce more secure, efficient and convenient. The company settles all credit card transactions and provides the infrastructure for any card – whether VISA, Amex and Mastercard credit, loyalty or pre-paid.
Nimbus Systems’ Stratus is a real-time convergent rating and billing platform designed to handle the demands of any customer or partner. First Data is using Stratus to simplify its credit and loyalty card billing, settlement with merchants, and invoicing of customers who utilise First Data’s white-label transaction infrastructure (including petrol stations, large supermarket chains and charities)
