ORGA Systems chosen by O2 UK for innovative outsourced SIM management service
O2 UK is utilizing ORGA Systems’ Over the Air (OTA) platform SIMtelligence Center as an outsourced solution for updating their SIM cards. ORGA Systems provides a responsive service to regularly update the SIM card base of O2.
The service has been providing the highest quality over the last year, states John Reekie Voice Product Development Manager from O2. “Thanks to the outsourced service, we have a very responsive solution meeting the complex requirements of our regular SIM updates with a very high success rates, while minimising initial investment . The solution offered delivers very good returns on investment, together with access to ORGAs highly skilled personnel.”
The SIMtelligence Center is the carrier grade OTA solution from ORGA Systems which allows flexible services via the plug-in architecture. Using this technology, operators are always guaranteed to be ahead of the latest service offers.
Plug-in applications currently available are, for example, SIM File Management, Preferred Roaming and Flexible SIM Menu solution. The solution supports JAVA cards as well as proprietary SIM cards of different vendors. The easy-to-operate GUIs allow a very fast setup and delivery of the OTA updates, especially for SIM updates targeting vast number of SIM cards with high performance.
Detailed monitoring is provided to allow the current status of all SIM updates being accessed at any time, including for example the update success rates.
The 3G-compatible Release 3.0 of the SIMtelligence Center with supporting plug-ins represents leading edge technology and is thus a valuable revenue-generating platform for 2G as well as 3G network operators.
