ORGA Systems enables real-time billing for yallo, the new wireless offering in Switzerland.
yallo, the successful new wireless offering in Switzerland, is aimed at anyone wanting to make mobile phone calls simply and cheaply. The low flat rate for calls in all Swiss networks reduces costs to the essentials. The non-subscription yallo service is charged in real time by the OPSC Billing System from ORGA Systems.
Since May, telecommunications customers in Switzerland have been able to make wireless calls and send and receive SMSs simply and conveniently thanks to yallo – and at an attractive flat rate of 49 Rp./minute (€0.32) for a call to any Swiss network and 20 Rp. (€0.13) per SMS.
yallo is a secondary brand of TDC Switzerland AG, a leading independent full-service provider from Switzerland that, with its sunrise brand, already offers a wide range of wireless services tailored to the needs of private and corporate customers. “With yallo, we are meeting the growing need to reduce mobile communications to basic functions. yallo is a no-frills offering with low prices and is aimed at those who are annoyed by complicated price models and long-winded administrative processes,” is how Kurt Lüscher, managing director at TDC Switzerland AG and responsible for the Mobile division, explains the reasons for launching the yallo brand.
Regardless of the time of day, yallo offers a flat rate and full cost control without contracts and subscription fees. Credit balances are queried and billing performed in real time by the IN-based OPSC billing platform from ORGA Systems. This system guarantees rapid and reliable order processing and service authorization. Registration for yallo and account management are handled over the Internet; interested users can register immediately at www.yallo.ch.

TDC Switzerland AG has been using the OPSC Billing System from ORGA Systems for charging sunrise pronto customer since 2001. From now on, all yallo customers will also be charged using the real-time billing system from ORGA Systems.
