KPN Mobile Division successful with new OTA platform
Easy handling enables tailored services
Optimum remote campaign management of (U)SIM menus and tailored roaming services are just two of the salient features of the new OTA platform recently put into operation by the KPN Mobile Division. Brilliant performance and simple handling will secure the mobile phone operator long-term competitive advantages.
Upon completing the project, Rob Glas, Project Manager in charge of migrating KPN's OTA platform, was extremely satisfied with the new solution from ORGA Systems: “The service that’s needed can be called up at any time with excellent performance and enables us to offer our customers the bestpossible services especially where roaming is concerned. Thanks to the intuitive user interface and job management, we can easily carry out automated campaigns at short notice and update a large number of (U)SIM cards from different manufacturers with user-specific profiles.”
Further elaborating on the virtues of the installed solution, Andreas Freund, Marketing Manager at ORGA Systems, said: “Optimizing the success rate of OTA updates is as much a part of the functionality of our SIMtelligence Center as is time-based management of the OTA campaigns.”
Many years of experience with highly complex customer projects and hosting services are reflected in the innovative further development of the OTA platform: subscribers can be offered attractive services ranging from the optimizing of roaming services to flexible management of (U)SIM menus and managing (U)SIM-based applications.
ORGA Systems can thus bear out its claim to offer mobile radio carriers an OTA platform that is not only a very safe investment but is also more than “merely” state-of-the-art.
