Nimbus Systems on target for record year
Nimbus Systems, the leading European billing software and mobile payments company, continues to reinforce its growth into northern Europe. The company has seen a 40% yearly increase in staff increase to over 100 employees since the company’s inception in 2001. Financial figures to date indicate that this will be a record year for Nimbus Systems.
Headquartered in Madrid, Nimbus Systems expanded into Northern Europe earlier this year. Offering billing, settlement, mobile payment and business intelligence solutions to the telecommunications, financial services and utilities markets, Nimbus Systems has partnerships with key players such as IBM and SAS.
Nimbus Systems’ solutions are based around two carrier-class products – Stratus and Mistral – which have already attracted tier one customers such as First Data, Vodafone and Amena (Spain’s third largest GSM operator). Stratus is a convergent billing and settlement system, designed to provide solutions for new billing challenges and can rate and bill anything from retail voice, to complex revenue sharing contracts. Mistral is a mobile payments management platform.
Tom Uhart, co founder and managing partner of Nimbus Systems, said: “The need for a competent billing and billing settlements system becomes ever more critical - in particular as a result of mobile phones now being both ubiquitous and multi-purpose, used for anything from downloading music to making payments. Our international marketing team has worked hard to develop the European market and we are now reaping the rewards of our efforts. We believe we are in a very strong position to continue our strong growth.”
