Silver Server deploys Actelis Networks Ethernet over Copper solutions from denk-stein:net to expand fiber metro reach
Actelis Networks, a leader delivering Ethernet over Copper solutions, has announced that Silver Server, in collaboration with denk-stein:net, Germany, has selected and deployed its MetaLIGHT Ethernet over Copper platforms to extend their Ethernet services to copper-fed businesses.
In recent installations in Vienna, Austria, Silver Server chose the Actelis Networks MetaLIGHT platform from denk-stein to quickly and economically provide high-speed, fiber-quality Ethernet services to their customers who are only served by copper. Using the MetaLIGHT platforms in point-to-point configurations, Silver Server is providing all of its customers business-class service levels from their fiber network out over the copper infrastructure that is already in place.
"The MetaLIGHT platform by Actelis Networks is the perfect solution for Silver Server," said Uwe Erdmann, director at denk-stein:net. "We provided technical assistance to Silver Server in their selection of the MetaLIGHT platform. They required a cost-effective and robust solution that would allow them to expand their service delivery to all business and organizational customers throughout Vienna."
Silver Server receives great benefits from the stable functionality with high security and high bandwidth that operates within the standards protocol of G.SHDSL. "The MetaLIGHT platforms are even enhanced by their excellent remote administration," stated Mr. Erdmann. "Silver Server can easily see and manage their entire Ethernet over Copper network."
