WiredRed adds multiple language support to e/pop Web Conferencing
Multipoint Web Conferencing software now localised for many European languages
WiredRed, the leader in enterprise-scale real-time communication software, has announced that e/pop Web Conferencing now supports all major European languages, including Portuguese, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and German. New language support includes localised pull-down menus, help files, and dialog boxes.
With the addition of multiple language support on the client side, e/pop Web Conferencing administration and maintenance tasks can now also be accomplished in the network or system administrator's preferred native language - a must in these times of large multi-national organisations.
e/pop provides fully interactive sessions for all participants to include multi-party video, VoIP, plus complete desktop sharing with remote control, application/document and dynamic presentation sharing. Multiple language support adds to the list of new e/pop Web Conferencing features including play-all (video) and un-mute all (VoIP) that makes it easy to run multiparty audio and video conferencing for 10 or more attendees, plus complete support for Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.
Conferences can be initiated by clicking on the desktop quick-start icon or web conferencing tool button within an Office application, or by right clicking the desktop or on any Office document. In addition, users can send Outlook Calendar invitations allowing participants to confirm scheduled conferences and join directly from links in their Outlook calendar.
"Through offering this multiple language enhancement, true international collaboration is now available at the click of a mouse," explained WiredRed's UK MD Tom Sloan. "This means that all members of an organisation - independent of locale - can undertake web conferencing with international colleagues, partners and customers in a manner they are comfortable with."
As the global leader in enterprise-scale real-time communication software, WiredRed's e/pop application is at the forefront of web-based collaboration applications, especially for businesses that want to significantly reduce expensive travel costs. WiredRed's solutions allow organisations to undertake high quality 'face to face' videoconferences online.
"The series of new feature enhancements made throughout 2005 moves us closer to our goal of making e/pop Web Conferencing the easiest web and multipoint video conferencing software to use," added Sloan. "As WiredRed continues its international growth, we believe it's important for all of our customers, wherever they are to reap the benefits of our advanced video and web conferencing software, brought about through these language additions."
