Ansgar Schlautmann, Associate Director, Arthur D. Little

Ansgar Schlautmann is an Associate Director at Arthur D. Little's TIME (Telecommunications, Information, Media and Electronics) practice in Frankfurt. He is responsible for the global competence center "Innovative Business Designs" which supports companies to adopt and profit from emerging technologies and business models.

For the past 14 years Ansgar has worked for large international telecommunication companies as well as media and internet players. He is currently in charge of the growing M2M (machine to machine) ecosystem and has done several projects in this space, primarily focusing on the emerging ecosystem development and business-models required.

Atreya Chaganty, Global VP Business Strategy and Development, Orga Systems

Atreya Chaganty is the Global Vice President for Business Strategy and Development of Strategic Markets at Orga Systems. He is also a member of the Executive Board at Orga Systems. Working with the CEO and senior management team Atreya helps lay out the strategic corporate initiatives for the firm and then works with the business unit heads to execute them. Rooted in understanding customer behavior and needs he and his team help identify new markets and strategies to exploit emerging opportunities. Prior to Orga Systems Atreya held senior positions at Oracle Corp and PricewaterhouseCoopers in business and management consulting. He has lived and worked in 5 countries across 3 continents. He has an MBA from London Business School and is a graduate of Texas A&M University, US and BITS Pilani, India.

Gareth Price, Head of New Business Strategy, NEC Europe Ltd.

Gareth is currently responsible for defining NEC’s M2M strategy for EMEA. Last year Gareth returned from 4 years at NEC’s HQ in Tokyo, Japan where he defined NEC’s global Carrier Cloud proposition while “getting his hands dirty” with leading Carrier SaaS projects in Asia. Although he started professional life as programmer, today he spends most of his time developing high-tech market strategies and the necessary business structures and processes required to implement them. Prior to coming to Tokyo, Gareth led NEC Europe’s internal Telecoms Consulting Department and was a Board Director of the NFC forum where he was the company’s leading expert in Value Added Services and mobile commerce. Prior to NEC, Gareth was a consultant and partner manager for Logica and a sponsored intern for Intel Corporation.

James Monighan, Head of Strategy, Marketing & Products, M2M, Telefonica UK

James is responsible for the shaping of the M2M strategy and vision, the creation and execution of all Marketing; and the development of new products and propositions. He has over 15 years experience in a range of Telco’s, ranging from start up’s to blue chips including Telewest, Centrica, and Carphone Warehouse.

Jim Morrish, Director, Machina Research

Jim Morrish is a respected telecommunications industry expert, with over 18 years experience of strategy consulting, operations management and telecoms research. Most recently at Analysys Mason he was responsible for launching the Mobile Content and Applications research programme. Previous experience includes strategy consulting for Booz&Co, project management and board membership at Cable & Wireless, Head of department at the BBC and also work as a freelance consultant.

Kfir Dan-Ari, M2M Marketing Director, Amdocs

With more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications, Kfir Dan-Ari is Marketing Director for Amdocs M2M business unit, and plays a key role in defining Amdocs' M2M strategy going forward, as well as running all of the unit's marketing activities, including positioning Amdocs in the M2M market, with analyst briefings, industry events, and across the media. Kfir also runs the unit's internal marketing activities to support Amdocs' sales force. Prior to this role, Kfir held the position of director of competitive strategy, leading competitive intelligence on Amdocs competitors, and developing a counter strategy to maintain Amdocs' position as leader in BSS and OSS. Previous roles include managing the product marketing activities of Amdocs' OSS offering, and presales positions at network equipment vendors such as ECI Telecom and Marconi.
