The strategic partnership deal between Swisscom and Vodafone has been extended.
The relationship between the two operators allows them to meet the communications requirements of large businesses and multinational corporations.
The agreement is also designed to provide roaming arrangements that offer a better customer experience to Vodafone and Swisscom users.
The extended agreement will enable both companies to jointly source and deploy a full range of products and services targeted at the business and consumer markets.
Both firms will continue to jointly procure phones, network equipment, service platforms and other technological infrastructure.
Chief commercial officer of Vodafone, Morten Lundal, said: “Switzerland is an important communications market and we are pleased to be extending our partnership with Swisscom."
He added: "The agreement enhances our ability to serve our international customers headquartered in Switzerland and to continue to offer them a full range of international products and services.”
