Big data remains a major topic in the industry, but operators are continuing to struggle to execute successful big data strategies.
According to European Communications' latest survey, a majority of operators (44 percent) said the gap between the perceived benefits of big data and the reality is getting bigger.
Marc Smith, Editor of European Communications, will kick off the event by presenting some of the other key findings from the survey.
George Johnston, Telecom Analytics Director for Deloitte UK, will then analyse the challenges operators are facing with regard to using big data to improve their internal processes in a bid to improve the customer experience.
The first operator keynote sees Jean-Marie Culpin, Marketing and Customer Intimacy Director for Orange, outline the France-based company's current strategy.
Then Gian Paolo Balbon, Head of the Future Centre and Innovation Direction at Telecom Italia, and Ben Kaner, CTO for Global Health BT Global Services, will demonstrate how they are using big data to drive new revenue streams with external companies.
